CBS 2's Suzanne Le Mignot reports the package had a note: “With hugs and kisses from Santa.”

“My name was on the box, so obviously they know where I lived if it was addressed to me,” said Kelly, an 18-year-old in Palos Heights, who came home to find a nicely wrapped Christmas gift on her front porch.

When the 18-year-old opened the box, what was inside defied imagination.

“I saw an eye, and I freaked out and called my best friend because we are both vegans, so she would be like, ahhh! And we came back here and called the police,” Kelly said.

Let me repeat that for you: I saw an eye, and I freaked out and called my best friend because we are both vegans, so she would be like, ahhh!

This is a perfect setting of why vegans and libs in general are nuts. Her first response was to call a friend because she new her friend "would be like, ahhh!"...Note that she didn't call the police until after her friend. This is the general way of how libs rebel against the group think of fascist regimes, they call their friend to see if what they are thinking is ok. I can imagine the conversation they had lots of "Oh my gaw...", "Totally, for sure", and "whatever"s.

To top it all off, this is the best part of the story:

“I think that if you do something like that you are obviously messed up in the head, because that’s not funny,” she said.

Lest you get carried away with today's good news from Iraq, consider what's happening next door in Iran. The wild pronouncements of the new Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have gotten sporadic press ever since he called for Israel to be wiped off the map. He subsequently amended himself to say that Israel should simply be extirpated from the Middle East map and moved to some German or Austrian province. Perhaps near the site of an old extermination camp?

Except that there were no such camps, indeed no Holocaust at all, says Ahmadinejad. Nothing but "myth," a "legend" that was "fabricated . . . under the name 'Massacre of the Jews.' " This brought the usual reaction from European and American officials, who, with Churchillian rage and power, called these statements unacceptable. That something serious might accrue to Iran for this -- say, expulsion from the United Nations for violating its most basic principle by advocating the outright eradication of a member state -- is, of course, out of the question.

Charity cash for Palestinian poor was siphoned to suicide bombers

Ahmed Salatna, 43, a Hamas activist from the West Bank town of Jenin, was remanded in custody by a military court charged with distributing €9m (£6.2m) for such purposes over the past nine years. The recipients are alleged to have included the family of a young man who blew himself up at the Sbarro pizza restaurant in Jerusalem in August 2001, killing 15 people and wounding 107. Hamas and Islamic Jihad acknowledged responsibility.

The charge sheet names two British charities, Human Appeal International and Interpal. Human Appeal is a broadly based fundraising organisation, currently helping victims of the Pakistani earthquake. Interpal describes itself as "a non-political, non-profit-making charity that focuses solely on the provision of relief and development aid to the poor and needy of Palestine". No one was available for comment at its London office yesterday. Other charities mentioned were the French CBST, the Italian ABSPT and the Al-Aqsa Foundation, which operates in Austria, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden.

Following intense US pressure, the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday issued an unprecedented condemnation of Monday’s Hizbullah attacks on northern Israel.

This condemnation - slamming Hizbullah by name for “acts of hatred” - marked the first time the Security Council has ever reprimanded Hizbullah for cross-border attacks on Israel. The condemnation followed by two days a failed attempt to get a condemnation issued on Monday, the day of the attack, when Algeria came out against any mention of Hizbullah in the statement.

When asked what changed from Monday to Wednesday, one diplomatic official replied: “John Bolton,” a reference to the US ambassador to the UN. Bolton lobbied vigorously for the passage of the statement.

Bush's Poll Numbers Should Concern Democrats

As we all know, Democrats have been wallowing in Bush's poll numbers like they were pages from a revitalization of the communist manifesto. John Hopkins, has a good read, about the subject. And if I could be just a mirror for his blog I would end every post with a "yep". But I would like to add one thing. The Democrats seem very elated about the "Handling the war on Terror" number. This should concern them rather than cause joy. Americans are not dissapointed because we want out of Iraq, or becuase some how we feel the terrrorist are winning. We are dissapointed because Americans like to handle foreign policy much like personal policy.

Example: Let's say John J. ~~Rambo~~ American is sitting in a bar minding his own Budweiser. Next thing he knows, some microbrew purest comes and punches him in the back of the head, going on and on about how capitalism has ruined beer everywhere else.

Now, If Johnny was European, he would standup and look at everyone in the bar and ask "Is is my duty to fight back, I would like a vote to see if is ok with the rest of you, and if there are any friends here, please jump in".

But remember, its John J. American. Instead John immediately throws a bow to the person on his back. Al-Microbrew rolls back grabbing his nose. So John throws a solid punch to his gut.

Now this is the point where John J. American and American foreign policy diverge. American foreign policy would compel John to then hold Al-Microbrew, ask if he was "going to be a good bar patron", and look around the bar to make sure nobody thought he was too tuff on him.

Not John J. Amercian. Instead with Al-Microbrew doubled over from the gut shot, John then throws a knee to the face, sending his enemy to the ground. Then, as Al-Microbrew tries to stagger to his knees, John throws one more blow to the face with a "Stay down!".

Thus, this is not what the Democrats want to hear. Infact, its the one thing that will send them forever down the hole of political oblivion if they ever get their way.

Al-Qaeda's logic has been flawed ever since they dipped their knives in to Iraq. Simply put, you can't go around killing the people you claim to defending and expect them to back you. This headline is from CNN, so as usual, be very skeptical, but it was reported by more than one news outlet, so I will lend some credence to it:

The one thing that baffles me is, why now? Iraqi deaths by Michael Moore's freedom fighters surprass American ones by miles, and yet the rest of the "arab" world hardly bats an eyelash. But somehow it was different this time? Honestly it most likey has to with the relationship Iraq has with the US, and general feelings of its people towards us.

I have a feeling that Arabs are a lot like Democrats. They don't consider you a real arab unless you hate the USA, much like your not a real black person unless your Democrat. Thus we come full circle; Islam, the religion of peace only thinks killing people is bad when they are anti-US, and Democrats, the party of tolerance, only accepts you if you are anti-US.

International Christian Concern reports more details:

The Washington-DC based human rights group, International Christian Concern (ICC) www.persecution.org has just become informed of a second attack on young Christian girls in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Ivon (last name unknown) (17 yrs.) and (Yuli) Siti Nuraini (17 yrs.) were shot in the head in the Gatot Subroto st area (Christian Area) of Poso near a Pentecostal church at 7:45 pm local time (11:45 GMT am).
It is reported that two armed men shot the girls point blank in the head with pistols. Ivon was shot through the left cheek and Siti was shot in the right cheek. Both are in coma and in critical condition.

These attacks follow the gruesome beheadings of 3 Christian High school students at the end of October. It is reported that 10 national-level police officials are in Central Sulawesi heading up the investigation into the beheadings. This latest attack coming right under their noses comes as a complete embarrassment to the central government.

There have been reports that the perpetrators of the beheadings are in custody but have not been formally charged. This latest attack also underscores the level of danger to Christians in the Poso area. This attack comes on the heels of 40 or more attacks against the Christian community, including shootings, killings, and major bombings. There have not been any convictions or arrests in any of these attacks.

France's Expected Economic Growth

Here is a little tidbit.

Economists worry that an economic pick-up forecast for the final quarter of the year and an acceleration of growth in 2006 could be jeopardized. The French economy is expected to expand by about 1.5 percent this year.

French growth is expected at 1.5%, and their unemployment is double digits. This is the country that is the model for the EU? This is who we are supposed to look at as a shining example of a nation taking care of its people? Opposed to the USA which has grown at an average of 4.1+% every year over the last 5 years, and has ~5.1% unemployment.

Thirty riot squad officers were hit by buckshot fired at them in suburbs south of Paris, police said. Two were hospitalised with serious wounds, and were visited late Sunday by Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy.

Elsewhere, officers were targeted by gangs roaming low-income neighbourhoods on the outskirts of major cities and setting fire to scores of vehicles and properties.

Operatives for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) also obtained a copy of his credit report -- the only Republican candidate so targeted.But black Democrats say there is nothing wrong with "pointing out the obvious."

This is how low the Left's political discourse has sunk: I'm a banana and a coconut and a whore and worse. Michael Steele is an Uncle Tom and a Sambo. Here's the despicable photo that left-wing bigot blogger Steve Gilliard (proving that blacks can be vicious racists, too) published and only removed after conservative bloggers blew the whistle:
